Aw fuck owww!

The wrist pain still persisted, so I went to my doctor who didn’t even look at my hand and seemed to know exactly what to do.
He just grabbed my right thumb and pulled on it so hard as to almost rip it off,
“AAAA HOLY SHIT!”
“There, all better,” he proclaimed.
“Are you sure about that? Because I don’t-” “No no no, you’re FINE!”

It turns out I wasn’t fine, but just in case he didn’t magically fix me somehow, he referred me to a hand surgeon… which I haven’t been to yet.
I thought I’d just let my hand rest for a while and I almost felt ready to go back to drawing,
if it wasn’t for my goddamn cat.
I was just playing with him earlier when he got startled by a window slamming shut, that’s when he hacked me in the base of my thumb. Rarely did I see so much blood coming out of my body except in the hospital, might have something to do with the blood thinners I’m using.
Not five seconds after the cat mauled my hand he was back to happily licking his balls, while I was lying there in pain.

Anyway, I guess I’m taking a few more days off, sorry.

Quick question!

Should I just put the latest comic on the front page?

I kinda like the way it is now, but it always takes one extra click to get to the actual comic and it seems like only half of the people arriving on the site are actually willing to do that?

It’s this way mostly to avoid spoiling new readers, nothing spoilerific going on right now mind you, but this story will take some twists and turns along the road.
Maybe I’m just a little too afraid of the whole spoiler business though, someone might be inclined to read more if they arrive at a particularly interesting time, wondering what lead up to these events?

Ah, I don’t know… Help me out here guys, what would you prefer?

Before I forget, if I do put the comic on the front-page, I’ll probably shrink the banner down too. Having to scroll a lot to read the comic also sucks after all.

New Banner

I’ve been trying paint tool SAI in my ongoing search for Paint Shop alternatives and man,
it is so good!
It’s almost like the developers put some thought into their program or something.
I thought it would be a good time to replace the old header image with something new,
so this is the first thing I made with Sai:

I’ll try to keep the banners relevant to what’s happening in the story.
Don’t expect the comic to go full color though, at least for now, I’m way too slow for that and I want to finish the comic within my lifetime!
