I noticed the comments about your wrist. Google search for “soft boob mouse pad Wrist Rests”, yeah, looks like a joke, but I use one and it really helps my carpel tunnel… I tried a firm one, and that made it worse, look for the soft ones…

Drake 1. January 2017 @ 18:37 Reply

Uh, I’ll think about it…

If this seems like it might help you, mercifully there are options that don’t look like boobs. There are a number of options that are sold as either a stand-alone blob of soft silicone to put under your wrist or a mousepad with a built-in blob of silicone for your wrist. I’ve used one for years and love it, and it looks absolutely nothing like creepy boob-mousepads.

Ignoring the image printed on the mouse pad, the “gap” between the pads is why I like it, a solid pad does not work as well… I got one as a (probably) gag gift, and it puts no stress on the tendons … So look for one with a “V” shape, or “dual round pads”. Not something I would use at work, but who cares what the home office mouse pad looks like…

Just take caution what you will found.

^^ happy new year! take it easy, okay?

Seems legit. Also, regarding your wrist: a friend swears by and recommended a vertical mouse. I’ve been trying it for awhile and when I’m actually sitting with a proper posture it does make a noticeable difference. In my usual slouch, I still prefer an old-style flat mouse, but I expect your posture while drawing is better than mine while web surfing/gaming. Here’s one example: http://www.amazon.com/SHARKK-Wireless-Ergonomic-Vertical-Button/dp/B00HEX9JSK/

I bought one like that recently. It does help a bit, but most of my wrist issues stem from drawing itself.

I can’t seem to find it now, but some months back I saw a video by a woman who gets around this issue by not using her hand to draw. She uses the tip of her nose on her tablet. It sounds ridiculous, I know, (hence why I’d really like to link to the video), but her results were surprisingly acceptable. (Hopefully it doesn’t lead to whatever the neck equivalent of carpel tunnel syndrome is called.)

Before using your head to draw, I think discerning the source of the pain is important. Just a casual diagnosis won’t cut it – Carpal Tunnel and Cervical Radiculopathy can be difficult to correctly distinguish. Both can be aggravated by certain motions, but only the latter will change in intensity when stretching the neck in specific ways. http://www.spinemd.com/news-philanthropy/ask-the-expert-carpal-tunnel-syndrome-vs-cervical-radiculopathy

Meaning, don’t use that method unless you’re absolutely sure your spine is in good shape. Even so, I doubt “surprisingly acceptable” is a good benchmark…

Erin would appear to be non-reactive …

Bubbaclaw 2. January 2017 @ 10:43 Reply

She’s either going to hug Mina or punch her in the face.

Decepticon Apeface 2. January 2017 @ 13:52 Reply

I vote hug

drakeye 2. January 2017 @ 14:33 Reply

Why not both?

Opus the Poet 2. January 2017 @ 22:35 Reply

Punch first, then hug. That’s love, the other way around indicates the person getting punched is no longer in a relationship with the puncher.

Decepticon Apeface 2. January 2017 @ 13:54 Reply

Come on Mina, full disclosure time. Tell them about the visions and urges. You need help, this is your intervention.

Opus the Poet 12. January 2017 @ 23:47 Reply

Just remind her about the crushed cell phone at the movies.

mekronid 4. January 2017 @ 21:33 Reply

I vote Erin tells her to piss off and never come back. Because, imo, the vision hasn’t ended. Why would the demon make her push someone right in front of the investigators – unless it was just a setup?
