She’s being rather clever here. just because one part of their story checks out doesn’t mean the rest is true.

Called it!

For Erin the question isn’t if its a demon invading Mina’s body; It’s knowing that or believing that Mina has been put under a hecken lot of stress lately and might of had a temporary psychotic break down. That’s the logical field of view; of course, there’s the point of asking “Did the Wizards intend it as to experiment” and thus their story doesn’t check out until “they can prove, that they did not know the dangers that the stone represented.” and that’s a far harder story to prove, because they did, and neglected to say anything.

Fawn 24. January 2017 @ 01:59 Reply

They tried to tell Erin that there could be negative consequences to the stone breaking, and asked her and Mina to report any odd feelings or incidents, but Erin dismissed it all as superstition, and Mina was hesitant to speak to them, especially with Erin’s objections. I’m not sure the men can really be faulted for negligence in this case.

They can, actually. Knowledge is power. Power begets responsibility. Responsibility means manning the fuck up and writing them a letter or something equally clear and concise to help them understand the gravity of the situation. If a young adult wants to touch the third rail on a trail station, not knowing what it is, do you say “oh, don’t touch that.” or “OH GOD, DON’T EVER TOUCH THAT!” Negligence is harmful. Possibly fatal. They fucked up.

Yeah. “You may be a psycho bitch who’s trying to kill me, but I still love you anyway.”
