Anyway, here’s one of the comments I came across on another website:

Nobody said trans people don’t have it bad, but it’s pretty clear that the shoe is now in the other foot, and now the LGBT community is becoming as abusive as the society that abused them. I can search for examples of the LGBT’s rivals, the Christians, being abused through laws, public school message, hate speech laws, discrimination laws, anti homeschooling laws. So it’s really just as meaningless a spat as any other pendulum swinging situation; that you were once the victim does not make you the good guy in this situation. There are no good guys here.
It being a sin to say “tranny” is just the BS moral side of a BS culture war. The artist did not remotely attempt to insult trans people. Yet people start getting offended and indignant because it contradicts their equally(as their rival’s) made up morality, and give themselves license to try to berate the artist or anybody else into conforming with it. This is starting drama over some moralistic BS over something that isn’t even an attempt to offend. And this is very very lame.
The non-rude, non-lame reaction is going “lol”. It isn’t the artist who is being a bully here.

How is that stupid? Open your eyes for a second. Mocking muslims is racist. Mocking Christians is fine. Mocking homosexuals is “homophobia”. Mocking heterosexuals is fine. When neo-nazis scream against Jews, it’s horrible and “omg, more money to fight ‘right wing’ extremism!” When left wingers scream against Jews, it’s “being critical of Israel.” Retarded double standards everywhere.

But I know, it’s easier to scream “that’s stoopid” than facing reality. You know what’s actually stupid? People who deny reality and close their eyes to the things happening all around them.

Yes, I’m sure those would be valid comparisons, if you looked at them in a vacuum.

In most of your comparisons (from a western perspective) one group is a majority while the other is a minority, this does make a difference.
In the USA, if you’re heterosexual and christian chances are you are considered “normal” and you’re not oppressed in any kind of systemic way.
Now, some of these people are screaming oppression just because someone is opposing daily prayers in public schools or is wishing them “happy holidays” instead of “merry Christmas”, all the while minority groups are actually facing intimidation, harassment and violence, some are even murdered just for who they are. You can’t tell me that isn’t stupid.

My religion doesn’t allow me to bully gays? Must be oppression!
If that is considered discrimination, well, I guess I’m in favor of discriminating against bigots.

It’s half of a good point there, But:
Mocking Muslims for being Muslim is racist. Mocking “Christians” for being dicks is funny (so sayeth a Christian).

Mocking ‘Homosexuals’ for a their brain chemistry is Homophobia. Mocking heterosexuals for being Homophobes is ironic (So sayeth a straight man).

When Neo-Nazi’s scream against Jews, it’s absurd. When the “Left wing” points out that Israel’s leadership is constantly war mongering, it’s observation (so sayeth someone who read “Freedom from religion” in the first amendment).

Don’t badmouth people for what they are, that would only be under God’s power (not saying He would use this power); badmouth what they do, because they can at least choose not to.

Hate to be the one to break it to you, but “Muslim” is not a race.

Ah, wait, there was an article on the Guardian mocking Transsexuals? That makes a bit more sense. Do you recall any details, it will probably be mirrored someplace they can’t purge.

I don’t remember all the specifics since it was a few months ago but I remember one particular bit: “dicks in chicks clothes”, that should pretty much tell you everything you need to know.
